Formation Yard Application – VLASTA

The information system for the support of the formation yard activities – VLASTA – is primary intended to cover processes of the formation (draw-off) yard.

With its additional activities, it allows monitoring of the local processes related to the handover and acceptance of the wagon, operational and technical state of the wagon, its movement in the yard area etc. The system monitors the processes as services and therefore, it is able to secure the operation of the service of formation of trains for other entities, as well.

System Parameters

• import of data on timetables, formation of trains and routing from another source (EMAN);
• train check after arrival (accepts train data from another source – CEVIS, A30)
• creation of the switching list;
• actual breakdown of load to sorting sidings;
• train schedule before departure (delivers data to another system– CEVIS);
• preparation of the work plan for service trains within the attraction area of the formation yard;
• addition and departure of a wagon from the general loading and un-loading siding and other public handling places;
• arrangement and monitoring of the station operating plan.
